Hi, I thought I had a 10 mins job to re fit my toilet after some tiling but it has turned into a bit of a nightmare. After re connecting the toliet I had a leak (excuse the pun) from the toliet waste when the toliet was flushed. The seal on the waste was not too hot but as its behind my nice new tiling I was reluctant to replace it.

Make sure there’s no twisting or stress on pipe or flush cone and make sure pipe is fully inserted - don’t want to be adding silicone as it’s a bodge and better to sort the leak properly and not cover it up Also worth checking it’s definitely leaking from the flush cone and not leaking from cistern end and running down pipe !

All fixed in place but theres a small leak from where the waste connects to the back if the toilet. Connector us brand new and almost a straight fit (maybe 10 degrees to the right and ten degrees down to meet soil pipe). I have noticed the glaze on the toilet where the connectoleaking toilet waste piper fits (is it called a spigot?) only covers the first inch or so.
